Last week, I attended the first tutorial since quarantine which was a cross-year presentation. I felt both anxious and excited before I went to the class because I thought I was a lot behind. But after I presented what I’ve done until now, the tutor（Houman）and peer students gave me a lot of supports and inspiration.
As a newbie in the class, I love the atmosphere that students give feedback actively on others’ works! I hope I can give more feedback and comments on others’ works next week.
Back to my project. After I did the investigation of my physical site (cafe) through different ways. I recorded several sounds from the cafe and took notes to describe what I’ve seen carefully. Then I found the connection between the owner and the customers interested me. The feedback I got from others was that perhaps I can visualize the feeling about this site and it could be in one or several media as experiments. I do agree so I think I just need to be a bit bolder and do it!
